Personal Management Merit Badge Class #2

Homework
1) Please complete requirements 1, 3 and 4 on your worksheet before the next class on Thursday, October 22.
2) Please complete the first part of requirement number 2Preparing a 13-Week Budget, which is to write down your estimated/expected income and expenses for the coming 13 weeks.
For your reference, I’ve attached the power point presentation for the topics we covered last night.

Class #2 will be held Thursday, October 22 at 6:30pm.
We will discuss concepts surrounding the next four badge requirements, which are:
  • Requirement 5: Explain certain types of investments and how they work;
  • Requirement 6: Explain why one would purchase certain types of insurance and and how they work;
  • Requirement 7: Discuss types of borrowing, bank cards and ways to eliminate debt;
  • Requirement 8: Making a to-do list and calendar for better time management.
