DESCRIPTION:My name is Brad Loomis and I will be doing my Eagle Project on July 30 and 31. I will be a senior at Loyola High School and I am a current Life Scout in Troop 355. \nMy Eagle Project will take place at Foothill Oaks Academy in Duarte. The fence is rusted in multiple areas including some sections where the rust perforates the iron completely. My project is restoring the the fence by sanding down the rusted metal and patching up to perforated spots. Following the restoration\, the fence will be painted in order to protect the fence from further damage. \nJuly 30: We will focus on sanding and patching up holes followed by starting the painting \nJuly 31: We will finish up the project completely by finishing up the painting \nDates and Times: July 30\, 9:00am – 6:00pm and July 31\, 10:00am – 5:00pm \nLocation: Foothill Oaks Academy\, 822 Bradbourne Ave. Duarte\, CA \nParking: People may park on the street or preferably park on the Junior High black top \nFood: Lunch\, drinks\, and snacks will be provided \nSunscreen will also be provided but you should bring your own if you can. We will also have a few easy-ups for shade. \nClothing: We will be sanding and painting so I suggest comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting a little bit dirty. Because it is July\, it will be hot so a t-shirt and shorts are suggested.
