SUMMARY:Carson Hasbrouck's Eagle Project
DESCRIPTION:My upcoming Eagle Project is scheduled for Tuesday August 21st and Wednesday August 22nd and will benefit Chandler School.  It is going to be a lot of fun and I hope you are able to volunteer to help! The project will include a Tree Survey that will entail identifying\, assessing\, measuring\, tagging\, and cataloging in a database all of the trees on the Chandler School campus. In addition\, we will construct a tree nursery that will house native tree saplings so that these trees can be replanted on site when needed.  We will be working from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day and I would appreciate any help\, even if just for a couple of hours.  We will provide lunch and plenty of snacks and beverages.  If you are able to join us\, please plan to wear sturdy shoes/boots and clothing that is OK if you get dirty — and please bring work gloves if you have them (no problem if you don’t\, since not all jobs require them).  We especially need some older scouts to help out with certain aspects of the survey.  We will plan to meet in Johnson Courtyard\, which is right near the front entrance of Chandler School located at 1005 Armada Drive\, Pasadena\, CA\, 91103.
