DESCRIPTION:Hello Backpackers\, \nTroop 355 is going backpacking on September 14-15; Islip Saddle to Little Jimmy Trail Camp along the Pacific Crest Trail in the Angeles National Forest. This is a great opportunity for first time backpackers to get some experience because the hike into camp is only 2.2 miles and about 900 feet of elevation gain.  \nParents and Scouts who are interested in backpacking are encouraged to attend. The 45 min meeting will cover the unique equipment needs for Scout backpacking. No uniforms required. You DO NOT need to sign up to attend – just show up – WE WILL START ON TIME. \nDon’t miss your chance to include backpacking in your Scouting experience!
