SUMMARY:Tyler Garibay's Eagle ProjectPasadena High SchoolClick for Details
DESCRIPTION:Dear Troop 355 Scouts\, \nMy name is Tyler Garibay and I will be doing my Eagle Project on March 11th and March 12th. I am a senior at Pasadena High School and I am a current Life Scout in Troop 355. \nMy Eagle Project will take place at Pasadena High School in Pasadena. We will be building metal benches around the school\, taking out some unwanted vegetation\, and planting various fruit trees and California native plants. \nOn March 11th\, we will be building the benches and taking out the unwanted vegetation. We will be using wrenches to construct the bench\, then use shovels to dig holes for the legs of the bench and then cement them in. At the same time\, I will have another team working on removing the weeds and shrubs that the school wants to have removed. \nOn March 12th\, we will focus on the fruit trees and the California-native plants. the plants will go where there is currently a huge area filled with weeds and shrubs. When the area is ready\, we will begin planting the new flowers and trees. We will then clean up the area and make it cleaner than how we found left it! \nDates and Times: March 11-March 12\, 8:30am – 4:00pm both days \nLocation: Pasadena High School\, 2925 E Sierra Madre Blvd\, Pasadena\, CA 91107 \nParking: There is a parking lot in the school on the corner of Washington Blvd and Sierra Madre Blvd. \nFood: Lunch & drinks will be provided \nClothing: I suggest comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting a little bit dirty. \nIf you can help out\, please text (preferred)\, call\, or email me telling me who you are and to let me know what day and which hours you will be volunteering\, so I will be able to plan everything out. \nThank you\, \nTyler GaribayCell phone: (626)755-1442

SUMMARY:Christopher Jung's Eagle ProjectPasadena Buddhist ChurchClick for Details
DESCRIPTION:Dear Troop 355\, \nMy name is Christopher Jung and I am currently a Junior at Loyola High School. I will be doing my Eagle Scout project this weekend on March 25th and 26th. \nMy project will be held at the Pasadena Buddhist Church. Long story short\, my basketball team has been using their facility for a long time since we were 5 years old\, so I would like to give back by creating a resting area for the guests and the organization. At the site\, we will build two picnic tables and coat them with a hazel brown stain. In addition\, I will be removing an extensive area of weeds/dirt and replace them with stone gravel. We will be working on these two parts simultaneously. \nIf you happen to have shovels and gloves\, please bring them if possible. \nFood: Donuts\, Pizza\, Chips\, and Drinks \nAddress: 1993 Glen Ave\, Pasadena\, CA 91103 \nClothing: Clothes you can get dirty in (Shoveling and Painting). Closed toe shoes. \nTime: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Saturday) \n 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. (Sunday) \nIf you plan to come\, please email/text me the day and time you plan to attend. Your support is deeply appreciated. \nThank You \nChristopher Jung \nCell: (626)898-3877
