DESCRIPTION:Trailhead: Corner of Mt Wilson Trail Drive and Miramonte Ave\, Sierra MadreDistance: 7 milesStart Time: 6:30 a.m. Finish: Approx. 10:30 a.m. \nBring 1 liter of water and high carbohydrate snacks consisting of approximately 400 calories. \nThis hike will meet the conditioning hike requirement for Hiking Merit Badge\, the 5 mile mile hike requirement for Second Class\, count as a Troop activity for Second Class and First Class\, and partially fulfill the active requirement for Star\, Life and Eagle. Scouts working on Star\, Life\, and Eagle will have the opportunity to organize the Scouts and lead the hike\, thereby earning partial credit for the leadership requirement. \nWe need at least one other adult to participate. Any and all adults willing and nearly able to participate in hikes this year should email Mr. Laudeman so we can plan future hikes.
