SUMMARY:Introduction to Backpacking Discussion
DESCRIPTION:Hello Backpackers\, \nTroop 355 is going backpacking on September 17; Buckhorn to Cooper Canyon Trail Camp along the Burkhart and Pacific Crest Trails in the Angeles National Forest. This is a great opportunity for first time backpackers to get some experience because the hike into camp is 2.7 miles and one of the flattest hikes you are ever going to get in the Angeles National Forest (with only a net loss of 250 feet in elevation).   \nParents and Scouts who are interested in backpacking are encouraged to attend. The 45 min meeting will cover the unique equipment needs for Scout backpacking.  No uniforms required.
