We will arrive late Friday night and camp on the El Centro Naval Air Base. Saturday morning we will eat breakfast on the tarmac and watch the show. Following the show\, we will race go carts on the base and return for the second show. This is a great chance to see the show in front of a very small crowd (around 200 people). Most years we are given the opportunity to meet the pilots after the second show. Very fun! Wilson Trail. Moms\, Dads and family are all welcome. All children who are not registered 355 scouts must be accompanied by a parent. There will be two hikes available on the same trail. One trek will hike to Orchard Camp and return for a moderate 7 mile out and back hike. The other trek will head for the Mt. Wilson Summit. This is a strenuous 14 mile round trip hike. The first 7 miles gain 4750 feet. It is generally considered a 6-8 hour hike. See the attached map for the route. We will meet at the trailhead at 7:00\, buddy up\, and hike at 7:15.
