DESCRIPTION:The Imperial Valley Navy League sponsors this truly unique opportunity to watch the Blue Angels – the United States Navy’s flight demonstration squadron – in their final practice sessions before heading out on tour for the air show season. \nWe will arrive late Friday night and camp on the El Centro Naval Air Base. Saturday morning we will eat breakfast on the tarmac and watch the show. Following the show\, we will race go carts on the base and return for the second show. This is a great chance to see the show in front of a very small crowd (around 200 people). Most years we are given the opportunity to meet the pilots after the second show. Very fun! \nPlease note that there is a possibilty that the date of this trip could change due to adjustments in the Blue Angels’ schedule.
